Revamping a Custom Build PC Website for Optimal Conversion – Dreamcore
Dreamcore was a web development project that revolved around improving the old website and helping the Dreamcore team build a new, up to date website, with a modern and easy to navigate structure that will be inviting for the target audience in Singapore. The main focus was to revamp the website so it can unlock the potential of improving the conversion rates by letting the buyers get to their wanted products in a few easy steps.

Updated the whole WordPress using the latest version
Installed the necessary plugins and fixed the bugs that came with the update
The Homepage was redeveloped according to a new design
The Header was redeveloped according to a new design
A new header with mega menu was created
The checkout page was updated and improved with better functionalities
The Project
The problem: When we first got in touch with the Dreamcore web development project, it was evident that the website was out of date and the latest WordPress version needed to be installed before any other work should be done. That creates some challenges along the way since the latest version of WordPress came along with bugs that needed to be fixed before any revamping of the site and the structure needed to be done.
When it comes to the website itself, Dreamcore needed a better structure and navigational path constructed for the target visitors to be able to get to the products in a few easy steps so they could find what they are looking for immediately and thus be led down the buying funnel. This would grant better chances for conversion which was the ultimate goal for Dreamcore.

Dreamcore is a configuration custom built company located in Singapore that provides superior craftsmanship to people in need for custom built PCs, gaming PCs, or enterprise level configurations. Their experience in incorporating the latest technology makes them one of the market leaders in Singapore.
The Challenge
The biggest challenge was tackling the bugs and issues that came with the latest version of WordPress. In addition, we had to manage all the updates so as not to make conflict with one another and remain functional without creating additional issues by themselves. At one point, there were a lot of updates necessary to complete at the same time and this along with the management of everything working out perfectly was probably the biggest challenge of all. Proud to say, the end results were satisfactorily completed.
The Impact on the Client
Dreamcore now has a functional and modern website with an easy navigational structure providing the customers with a facilitated way of racing the products they want, and also enabling them to set up a configuration by themselves. This would help the client improve and optimize their conversions.
